The legal basis is the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its implementing regulation (BFSGV), applicable since 28 June 2025. The technical reference is the European standard EN 301 549 (based, among others, on the WCAG).

Our Service
Our website provides information about rooms and suites, spa, conference and event facilities, dining, and special offers. Via the online booking function, guests can select stays, add additional services, and complete bookings (including price and availability display and online payment). These digital services fall within the scope of the BFSG.
Compliance Status
We follow EN 301 549 (web section) in conjunction with WCAG and implement in particular: structure and navigation, keyboard operability, non-text content, contrast and readability, forms and error messages, media and documents, language.
Known Limitations
- Some older PDFs (historical documents) are not yet fully tagged
- Embedded maps from external providers may have limited keyboard accessibility
- Visual media: Some older videos may lack subtitles or transcripts

Market Surveillance / Enforcement
Market surveillance under the BFSG is carried out by a centralised market surveillance authority of the federal states (MLBF) in Magdeburg. Until it is fully established, we refer to the current guidance of the federal states and the relevant authorities.
