Your responsibilities

  • Responsibility for planning, monitoring, and analyzing food and beverage costs
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly evaluation of inventory usage and cost metrics
  • Conducting inventory counts and analyzing inventory variances
  • Monitoring and optimizing purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management processes
  • Monitoring recipes, portion sizes, and cost calculations to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Creating and maintaining food and beverage cost calculations
  • Analysis of sales, cost of goods sold, and consumption data, and identification of optimization measures
  • Close collaboration with purchasing, kitchen, service, and financial accounting
  • Support with budget planning, forecasts, and monthly closings
  • Monitoring compliance with internal standards and company guidelines
  • Preparation of reports
  • Identification of cost-saving opportunities and continuous optimization of F&B processes
  • Supporting the implementation and further development of controlling and inventory management systems
  • Training and advising operational departments on cost-conscious handling of inventory
  • Ensuring accurate master data maintenance in the inventory management system
  • Placing inventory orders and receiving goods from suppliers
  • Inventory transfers and restocking of individual outlets

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in the hospitality or food service industry
  • Several years of professional experience in F&B controlling, cost control, or a comparable position, ideally in the hospitality or food service industry
  • A certain aptitude for numbers is desirable
  • Knowledge of food and beverage costing as well as inventory and stock management
  • Experience working with inventory management and point-of-sale systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
  • An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • A high degree of accuracy, a strong sense of responsibility, and integrity
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments with the kitchen, service, and finance teams
  • Initiative, organizational skills, and assertiveness
  • Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
