Alkaline fasting

Anyone who decides in favour of alkaline fasting is doing something for their health. This is because foods that over-acidify the body are avoided over a longer period of time. Instead, you eat low-acid foods such as vegetables, herbs, seeds, kernels and nuts. Fruits with a high? You can also eat fruits with a high degree of ripeness. Only citrus fruits are not suitable if you opt for "acid fasting".

Alkaline fasting succeeds in ridding the body of toxins. It can be the start of a change in eating habits with the side effect of weight loss.

We accompany alkaline fasting in our Alkaline Balance Weeks with a customised weekly plan, close support from food coaches and our Felke Med and Spa team. We also provide you with tips for preparation and follow-up.

We recommend our Felke Alkaline Balance Week (5, 7 or 10 days) to familiarise yourself with the topic or to carry out alkaline fasting under guidance and with like-minded people. It can be the starting point for a fundamental change in diet - away from foods that over-acidify the body and towards a low-acid diet. An alkaline fasting week should be organised at least once a year to review and adjust your eating habits.

At the beginning there is an introductory talk to the alkaline days and a presentation of the programme. The alkaline balance week includes a body fat analysis and healing clay treatments. We serve three, predominantly alkaline, meals a day. To reinforce the success of the fasting programme, we use the alkaline treatments and body care products from P. Jentschura. You will also receive other products from Jentschura's alkaline programme for use in your room and at home. Alkaline Balance Fasting at BollAnts Spa im Park also includes healing earth treatments for holistic, gentle detoxification as well as exercise and relaxation programmes.

Low-acid foods include vegetables, herbs, seeds, kernels (pine nuts, sunflower seeds) and nuts. Caution is advised with hazelnuts, as they have a cross-allergy to rye. When eating fruit, pay attention to the degree of ripeness. Citrus fruits, especially lemon (citric acid) are not suitable.

Acidifying foods such as meat, fish, cereal products containing gluten (wheat, rye, spelt, barley, triticale, einkorn and emmer) and especially foods containing cow's milk and casein (whole milk, buttermilk, quark, yoghurt, soft cheese, hard cheese, etc.) should be consciously avoided.

Water and tea are suitable drinks. Felke Med Praxis offers highly purified active alkaline water for refilling the water bottle, which not only supports therapeutic fasting, but also "acid fasting" excellently. When it comes to teas, it is advisable to choose green-coloured herbal teas, as red-coloured teas have an acidifying effect. Coffee should be avoided in any form. Not because of the caffeine, but because of the roasted substances and coffee acids. The roasted substances are particularly harmful to the liver, while the acids increase the acidity level in the body.

  • Avoid products containing gluten as far as possible (wheat, rye, spelt, barley)
  • Avoid cow's milk products as far as possible and favour goat's or sheep's milk products.
  • Drink purified and alkaline still water.
  • Follow your natural rhythm: eat breakfast like an emperor, lunch like a commoner and dinner like a beggar. In the evening, favour a soup, as is customary in other cultures and in times gone by.

You can support the intestines excellently during "acid fasting" by colonic irrigation with colon hydrotherapy (CHT).

Alkaline fasting has a thorough cleansing and purifying effect and restores the acid-alkaline balance in your body. A balanced acid-alkaline balance is important, as too many acids in the body can no longer be excreted via the kidneys and intestines. Acidification of the body can lead to many health problems. The alkalising cure is intended to counteract this and create an awareness of healthy nutrition.

  • Awareness of healthy eating
  • Change of eating habits towards more fruit and vegetables
  • Acid-base balance in better equilibrium
  • Strengthening the body's defences
  • Improved metabolism
  • Weight reduction
